For those who control the Forms server configuration, Oracle Forms 10.1.2.0.2 was actually designed to support Sun’s standard JDK plugin JInitiator. Oracle worked closely with Sun to transition away from JInitiator, officially supporting JDK versions 1.4.2 and 1.5.0
