: Dubbed by Pawan Kalra , known for his deep, booming delivery suitable for Dave Bautista’s character. Baby Groot : Voiced by Mohak Ninad .
Upon its release in India on May 5, 2017, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 faced a unique challenge: the unparalleled craze for the Indian epic Baahubali 2: The Conclusion , which had monopolized screens nationwide. Despite this major hurdle and a limited screen count of about 600-800, the film managed a decent performance.
The successful execution of this wacky yet heartfelt adventure is credited to the unique vision of writer and director James Gunn. He is known for his sharp, witty dialogue, his masterful blend of action and comedy, and his incredible use of retro music. The film was produced by Marvel Studios with a massive budget of around $200 million. Visually, Vol. 2 is a major step up from its predecessor, featuring incredibly detailed CGI and a more vibrant, neon-drenched color palette. The action sequences are over-the-top and creative, while the quieter, character-driven moments on Ego’s planet provide a stunning visual contrast.
In Vol. 2 , Groot is an adorable toddler. While his iconic phrase remains "I am Groot," the pitch and innocence of the voice were meticulously preserved in the Indian dub. The emotional weight of Baby Groot interacting with the team transcends language barriers flawlessly. Drax the Destroyer (Originally Dave Bautista)
