Slipknot 10th - Anniversary

During the 10th anniversary press cycle, the band performed the album in its entirety at select shows. Playing "Slipknot" front to back revealed the album's hidden architecture.

On June 29, 2009, Corey Taylor announced the upcoming release, stating, "As you know, June 29, 2009 is a very special date for us. It marks the 10-year anniversary of the very first Slipknot album. And in 10 years, it has been complete insanity". The reissue was slated for release on and was a comprehensive 25-track CD/DVD package.

While the other anniversaries focused on expansive CD/DVD sets, the 10th anniversary of Vol. 3: The Subliminal Verses in 2014 took a different, more collector-oriented route. To mark the decade since the release of their Rick Rubin-produced album (original release date: May 25, 2004), the band participated in Record Store Day.
