Denegri, en su infatigable labor periodística, solía quejarse de la pobreza del léxico diario y de la negligencia en el uso de los diccionarios. Según su perspectiva, la cultura lexicográfica en el Perú estaba llena de vacíos. El buscaba rescatar palabras que la Real Academia Española (RAE) demoraba décadas en aceptar. This is Denegri’s most famous dictionary. It is not a standard lexicon but a dissection of the Spanish language through the lens of sexuality and anthropology. In this book, Denegri traces the etymology of thousands of words related to the human body, desire, and taboo. A PDF of this work is highly sought after because it is out of print in many Spanish-speaking countries.
