Adjusting internal counters without physically checking the hardware can cause ink overflow, damaging your printer and your property. Always ensure the ink pads are replaced or an external waste ink tank is installed if the counter is high.

When the counter hits 100%, the printer triggers a hardware lockout. The power light and ink/paper lights will flash alternately, and you will be unable to print, scan, or clean the heads.
